Introduction
and Description
The Digital Haemoglobin (Hb/Bl) Reader is
designed, keeping in view to make the analysis
simpler. The cumbersome step of calculation
is deleted while using the digital Hb/Bl
Reader. The final result of the unknown
test will be displayed directly in Conc.
There is no need of calculations. O.D. can
also be measured. However ‘AUTO ZERO’
facility is also provided.
The digital
Hb/Bl Reader with LCD alpha-numeric display
is a compact, elegant, light weight and
reliable micro controller based equipment
to produce accurate results.
An optical
glass LED (546nm) and square cuvette has
been incorporated to give accurate results.
This instrument has been designed to operate
in the following modes :-

Installation Requirement
a.) Voltage 230 V + 10 AC, 50 Hz (or
AC stabilizer).
b.) Earthing must be proper.
c.) Room should be dust free.
d.) Vibration should be avoided (Electrical
or Mechanical).
e.) Radiation should be avoided.
f.) Humidity should be less than 60-70%.
Unpack the equipment and plug into three-pin
socket having proper earth. Leave it
for 5-10 minutes to warm up before use.

Operating
Modes

Calibration Mode
In this mode, you can change the FED
value of CONC/FACTORS of Standards or
Calibrator with the help of the Switch
3 and 4 »
Measurement Mode
In this mode, if the CONC/FACTORS
of Standard solutions matched with
the FED values, then there is no need
of any calibration. You can directly
go to the testing.

Photo Col. Mode
In this mode, the instrument will
act as a colorimeter at 546 nm. It
gives only the absorbance of the Standard
or Tests.
Operating
Steps
1. Switch ‘ON’ the instrument
by the switch given at the back of
the machine.
- Display will show KM 003 Hb/Bl /
Haemoglobin Mode
2. Press K1 Display will show, BILIRUBIN
MODE
3. Again Press K1 Display will show
