INTRODUCTION
This Digital Colony Counter is a micro-controlled based instrument with unique feature of eight-channel memory facility and also having the Start/Stop command facility to avoid any error in counting. A Red LED is given on the front panel to indicate that instrument is in counting mode. A user can move to any channel (S1 to S8) with keypad switch K2 and K3. Further you can count upto 9999 in each channel and they will remain in the memory till you press Erase switch. It is easy to use and designed for fast and accurate counting of bacterial and mould colonies. This instrument is a basic bench tool for the micro-biologist. The integral magnifying glass is provided to easier counting

PRECAUTIONS

1. Check all the electrical connections
2. Vibration should be avoided electrically or mechanically
3. Room should be dust free.
4. Illumination on the pad should be uniform.
5. Auto marker (Pen) should work freely.
   

Now you can count the colonies of different samples in the same way as mentioned above.

KEY PAD FUNCTION

CAUTION
To avoid cross contamination between samples, never immersed the electrode in next sample without proper washing/cleaning.

MAINTENANCE
Rinsing the electrode with tap water after using will extend useful life. In aggressive solutions with heavy melts or high viscosity, take reading quickly and rinse the electrode quickly afterwards with D.M. water to remove any residue.
